ApexTrader adds signals
It’s very easy to set up signals on ApexTrader if you’re already familiar with its interface for setting up strategies.
Assuming you already have ApexTrader, the procedure to set up Crypto Base Scanner is as follows.
- Sign up for Crypto Base Scanner signals. You have different options when signing up you can either signup for Signals Only or for Signals + the Altrady platform. Altrady is an all-in-one cryptocurrency trading platform for trading on multiple exchanges from one unified interface. Check the video below to learn more about Altrady.
For getting signals the Signals Only option is enough but Altrady is definitely worth getting if you also trade manually.

The complete trading platform that allows you to trade cryptocurrencies on multiple exchanges from a single dashboard.
- Once you’re signed up for Crypto Base Scanner signals go to
Here you can see your Crypto Base Scanner API key. You need to copy this key. And open your ApexTrader bot. Next Click on Signals.
Here you can set up your signal by adding your Crypto Base Scanner API key. Don’t forget to enable the service and save your settings!
Once this is done you need to set up a strategy for your signals. Under Strategies go to Signal.
You can start with this template.
Setting up the strategy is identical to setting up a strategy for a TA strat, except you don’t have to add TA indicators for buying. For selling, you have additional options now:
- Remote Signal Price = Accept the Signal Sell Price
- Hold Position = Just hold the position until you manually decide to sell it or to apply a specific strategy to it manually
But of course, you can still do a Profit Trail, Percent Profit and Percent Profit — Dynamic if you prefer those.
Another thing that’s essential when setting up Crypto Base Scanner is to add a few levels of ADCA by adding an ADCA strategy just as you would for a TA strategy. If you’re not sure how to set one up you can copy one from another strategy and adjust from there.
That’s basically all there is to it.
